A professional forum for engineers and architects of Bangladesh heritage living in Alberta, Canada. Based in Calgary and established in 2003, ABEAC is a non-profit, non-political, voluntary professional organization. The organization provides its members with a non-partisan, non-religious environment to interact, a network for mutual benefit and growth. ABEAC confers high value for its members and consistently helping them in pursuing professional, social and personal development. In a safe environment, with respect, dignity, and compassion, ABEAC provides innovative, professional programs and services promoting positive life changes to its members in their sphere of influence. ABEAC strives hard to contribute to the overall growth of Alberta through the continuous induction of its best engineering professionals in the local job market.

- Provide support for obtaining Professional Membership in the province of Alberta and other jurisdictions

- Collaborate with other technical Institutions and professional bodies.
- Motivate members to develop fellowship in building a vibrant community.
- Facilitate social interaction among the members and their families
- Engage with other non-profit organizations in various social development endeavors.
ROLES
PRESIDENT
The President is responsible and accountable for all the activities of ABEAC. The President presides over all the meetings as well as lead ABEAC.
VICE PRESIDENT
The Vice -Presidents assist the President in his activities and assume responsibilities of the ABEAC in the absence of the President.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Executive Director is responsible for executing the decisions taken by the Board and the general body. Also, he coordinates all the programs and activities of the organization.
MEMBERS
Engineers of Bangladeshi ancestry with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized institution with the payment of prescribed fee and declaration of commitment to the objectives of the Association are eligible to become regular members of ABEAC. Engineers eligible to acquire membership of APEGA and other professional engineering bodies are also eligible to become a regular member of the organization.
